Wrestling with how to be a “good” Christian in a world that redefines what it means to be good?

Hope in truth

Finding Solid Ground

Christians today are challenged by a culture that rejects the idea of set moral standards, prioritizes feelings over objective truth, and glorifies self-fulfillment above God’s authority in the name of tolerance, justice, and love. It’s easy to be misled by the messaging – enough to begin questioning the Bible’s relevance and even the authenticity of your faith.

an alternative approach

Get rooted in the Word

Establish a regular rhythm of engaging the Word of God in a meaningful way. Explore resources to dig deep into what you believe and inform your faith.

Develop eyes that see

View the world through the lens of God’s Word, allowing it to inspire your thoughts, words, and actions. Discern truth from error with a mind renewed by the Spirit.

Dwell in Truth

Honor God by living the way He intended, growing in your desire and practice of rightly relating to Him and others. Experience the peace, joy, and freedom that result.

Rooted in the Word, Transformed by Truth

In a world where counterfeit gospels abound – even amongst believers, it’s essential that we, as well-meaning followers of Jesus, get clear on what we believe and why we believe it.

When we prioritize seeking God in His Word and digging deeper into the core beliefs of our historic Christian faith, we participate in the Spirit’s renewal of our minds and transformation of our hearts.

With eyes to see and ears to hear, we find passion to honor our God, freedom to embrace our gospel identity, and wisdom to discern, share, and stand for Truth with confidence and joy.

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.

john 17:17

What I believe:

  • Truth that is true for all people at all times and in the same way exists and can be known.
  • God is the source of all Truth and reveals it in His works and in His Word.
  • All Scripture is God-breathed, wholly true in all it affirms, and entirely sufficient for life and godliness.
  • The Bible, as God’s eternal, unchanging Word, holds ultimate authority on matters of faith and living.
  • The Holy Spirit guides us into all Truth, renewing our minds and transforming our hearts.
  • Scripture warns against false teachers and commands us to use discernment to test and approve what is true.
  • God calls us to be prepared to give a reason for why we believe what we believe.
  • A biblical worldview is necessary to accurately interpret reality. Bible literacy matters.
The unifying Truth and ultimate Hope of all Scripture is the gospel message of Jesus Christ’s life, death, resurrection and future reign as our Forever King.
hey there!

I’m Ashley

Reading the Bible used to mean checking a box on my daily to-do list – until the Spirit transformed my perspective. Now I’m on fire to forever seek God in His Word and encourage others to do the same. Recognizing Scripture as a God-breathed gift given so we can know what is true, my urge for believers is to get rooted in His Word so we can rightly honor our God as we dwell in Truth.
